InFocus Turbo 5 with 5,000mAh battery to launch in India today
InFocus is all set to launch its latest smartphone, called Turbo 5, in India today. The key highlight of the smartphone is its massive 5,000mAh battery capacity. The yet-to-be-launched smartphone got briefly listed on Amazon India’s website earlier this week. The listing, which was pulled down later,revealed the smartphone’s alleged specifications.
According to the listing, (first sighted by, the InFocus Turbo 5 boasts of a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with a pane of 2.5D curved glass and runs on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has a 3GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor (clocked at 1.25GHz) coupled with Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It supports hybrid dual sim slot (nano+nano/microSD card), FM radio, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS on the connectivity front.
The Turbo 5 reportedly sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. The massive 5,000 battery is said to offer at least 23 hours of talktime and a minimum of 816 hours of standby time. The device will also be able to charge other devices via OTG support. Since the company immediately removed the device listing from, the price can only be confirmed after the launch.
